Dermapen Treatment
The Dermapen 3™
can be used to treat ageing skin; vertical lip lines; vitiligo; hyperpigmentation; enlarged or dilated pores; stretch marks; scars due to acne, surgery or burns; and alopecia. It is also used for skin tightening and rejuvenation. The Dermapen 3™
creates micro-punctures in the skin, which your body then works to repair by producing more collagen. The micro-punctures created by the Dermapen 3™
can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients, delivering nutrients deeper into the skin. Generally, there is no downtime associated with the Dermapen 3™
treatments, and most people are able to return to work immediately. However, you may have facial redness for one to two days afterwards. Typically, after the first treatment with the Dermapen 3™, you will start seeing results. For lasting and more significant results with the Dermapen 3™, the following is recommended:
- Rejuvenation – Four to six treatments, four weeks apart.
- Acne Scarring – Six treatments, six weeks apart.
- To treat the appearance of stretch marks – Four to eight treatments, four to six weeks apart.
